REGISTRATION FEE:
Fee includes includes uniform (jersey, socks, & visor), state
required insurance, Local Dad's Club fees and ASA registration
Player Fee : $150.00 + $25 Late Fee
FORMS & BIRTH CERTIFICATE:
All forms, pictures, birth certificate and payment will have to be turned in in order to register. Pictures have to be wallet sized or smaller. If you come to register without any of these items you will be asked to come back
Anyone interested in managing or coaching a team must complete and submit out all three forms, 2012 Manager/Coaches Form, Background Ck Release Form and the Manager's Code of Conduct Form. Also a copy of drivers license and $9 for background check will need to be turned in at the time of registration.
GENERAL INFORMATION
PGSA offers a positive environment of sportsmanship, fundamentals, teamwork, and competition that will help our players reach their athletic goals. The association is composed of a group of committed coaches, parents, and volunteers working together to support our young athletes. PGSA’s mission is to create athletes who will become good leaders, students and team players.
Spring Ball is a competitive league for girls ages 4-14 consisting of at least one or more practices weekly with games played Monday thru Sunday. Teams are formed through a draft and there will be tryouts. The season begins with an opening weekend tournament and festivities on February 10th thru the 12th and ends with Closing Ceremonies in April 2012. Games will be either played at PGSA Fields (Dad's Club) or at Centennial Park (Mondays).
Each player is responsible for selling candy and raffle tickets, having a parent work in the concession stand, and working on field maintenance day. If a parent does not wish to participate they have the option to "buy out" for any or all (with the exception of raffle tickets). Every player is required to sell a minimum of 10 raffle tickets. These fundraisers help keep registration costs down.
